Overview
Join our dynamic team as a CNC Programmer, where your expertise will drive precision and innovation in our manufacturing processes! In this exciting role, you will be responsible for programming and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components that meet exact specifications. Your technical skills and attention to detail will play a crucial role in enhancing our production efficiency and product quality.
What you’ll do
- Read engineered drawings and translate into CAD software
- Use CAD/CAM software to create code programs for CNC operations
- Identify material and tooling required for CNC and building workflows
- Ensure finished parts are built to correct specifications and revisions
- Problem solve any issues between drawings and workflow processes
- Design and engineer parts by measuring, calculating, and selecting material/tooling needed
- Communicate with group leaders/operators to make adjustments to specs as needed
Basic qualifications
- Must be able to read blue prints and specifications
- Basic computer skills
- Organization - keep and maintain all drawings and revisions, files, and CNC prgrams
- Experience with CAD/CAM software - We use Alphacam
- Understanding of CNC operations, materials and tooling
- Strong math and problem solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
Required qualifications
- Experience with CAM programming software such as CATIA.
- Knowledge of geometry principles related to machining applications.
- Background in manufacturing environments with a focus on quality assurance.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
