Duties
- Lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Manage and supervise staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating team members to foster a motivated and high-performing workforce.
- Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and maintaining high culinary standards.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, sales tracking, and inventory management.
- Control inventory levels through effective stock management, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, perform cash handling duties, and reconcile daily sales reports.
- Implement staff training programs focused on customer service excellence, food safety, and operational procedures.
- Monitor financial performance by analyzing profit and loss statements; develop strategies to maximize profitability.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations including food handling, sanitation standards, and workplace safety protocols.
- Coordinate shift schedules, manage customer complaints promptly, and oversee catering or banquet events when applicable.
- Promote a positive hospitality environment that emphasizes teamwork, guest satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within quick service or fast food restaurant environments; casual dining or fine dining experience is highly desirable.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management with culinary experience preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required.
- Demonstrated ability in inventory control, food safety management, and food production processes.
- Experience supervising teams in hospitality or food service settings; excellent leadership skills essential.
- Knowledge of restaurant management practices including budgeting, profit analysis, shift management, and staff training & development.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Hospitality management background with experience in managing hospitality teams across various service areas including bar or catering is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills coupled with the ability to interview candidates effectively for team staffing needs.
