Chemistry Test Technician We are looking for a Chemistry Test Technician to join our Portland, OR site. The Chemistry Test Tech performs a variety of tasks related to the testing of raw materials, manufactured products or manufacturing processes. Perform equipment calibration & testing and testing & program inspections. Mechanical sample prep will include cutting and grinding of metal samples using various equipment including belt sander, jewelers saw, abrasive cut off saw and rotary wet grinder. Analyze samples using a variety of analytical instrumentation. Analytical instrumentation may include but is not limited to oxygen/nitrogen analyzer, hydrogen analyzer, carbon/sulfur determinator and arc-spark optical emission spectrometer (OES). Perform work in accordance with proper work procedures and in a safe manner. Perform preventive maintenance and assist in troubleshooting and repairs of equipment as needed. Communicate data, workflow, equipment and all other lab related information. Accurately complete datasheets using manual and exported data. Perform other tasks as directed by management.
