MIASA Automotive is seeking a talented Production Supervisor to oversee our production operations in Yorktown, IN. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of our CNC machining processes.
Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management
Supervise, coach, and motivate production team members to achieve performance goals.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and safety-focused workplace culture.
Provide training, feedback, and performance evaluations.
Safety & Compliance
Enforce all company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
Promote safe work habits and ensure employees follow proper procedures.
Respond promptly to incidents and take corrective actions.
Production & Quality
Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities to meet schedules.
Ensure quality standards are met and take corrective measures when needed.
Collaborate with Quality and Maintenance teams to reduce downtime and defects.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
Support implementation of lean manufacturing and process improvement initiatives.
Communication & Reporting
Maintain clear communication between shifts, departments, and management.
Prepare and deliver regular reports on production, safety, and team performance.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Requirements
Must be willing to work 3-11 PM, including evenings or weekends if required.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs as needed.
Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
