Responsibilities
- Operate cash registers efficiently, accurately processing retail sales transactions and handling cash drawer operations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and providing product information.
- Conduct product demos and upsell items to enhance the shopping experience and meet sales goals.
- Maintain knowledge of store products and merchandising standards to assist customers effectively.
- Assist with stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the store remains tidy and inviting.
- Handle phone inquiries professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Support team members with supervising experience by helping coordinate daily tasks and ensuring smooth store operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is essential.
- Strong basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
