What You'll Do
As the Weatherization and Housing Services Program Manager, you will:
- Lead the daily operations of the Weatherization and Housing Services intake team to ensure efficient, customer-focused, and compliant service delivery.
- Supervise, coach, and support Intake Specialists and the Receptionist by setting performance expectations, monitoring productivity, conducting evaluations, and fostering professional development.
- Ensure accurate eligibility determinations, complete documentation, quality data entry, and compliance with all federal, state, local, and agency requirements.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews and file audits to maintain program integrity and audit readiness.
- Develop and implement workflow improvements that increase operational efficiency and enhance the customer experience.
- Prepare, analyze, and monitor reports related to program performance, quality assurance, compliance, and operational metrics.
- Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, strategic planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Address complex client concerns and escalated issues in a professional, timely, and customer-focused manner.
- Utilize agency databases and reporting systems to monitor applications, staff performance, and program outcomes.
- Participate in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, performance management, and employee development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners while supporting outreach initiatives that increase awareness of available services.
- Represent MVCAP professionally while promoting accountability, teamwork, and excellent customer service.
Required
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in intake operations, administrative services, program coordination, or a client service-focused role.
- Supervisory or leadership experience within a human services, nonprofit, or community-based program.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database management systems.
- Associate's degree or higher in Social Services, Public Administration, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Experience working with public assistance programs, eligibility guidelines, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience using intake management systems or comparable software platforms.
