Job Summary (days off Tuesday & Wednesday)

Work schedule 8am to 4:30pm Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Thursday & Friday

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitorial Worker to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across our facilities. In this vital role, you will ensure that all areas are kept spotless, safe, and welcoming for staff, visitors, and clients alike. Your proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance will contribute to a healthy environment and uphold our commitment to high standards of hygiene and safety. Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, windows, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers.
• Handle various chemical agents safely while performing sanitation tasks, adhering strictly to chemical handling safety procedures.
• Conduct lifting and manual handling of cleaning supplies, furniture, or waste materials following safe lifting practices.
• Maintain the cleanliness of floors through buffing, polishing, and floor care techniques to ensure a polished appearance.
• Restock supplies in restrooms, kitchens, and cleaning closets; dispose of waste according to safety protocols.
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report issues promptly.
• Support custodial tasks in industrial or commercial cleaning environments with a focus on sanitation standards and safety compliance.

Requirements

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning procedures.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, mops, and chemical sprayers.
• Ability to handle chemical agents safely while following all chemical handling safety procedures.
• Physical capability for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to facilities maintenance and sanitation practices.
• Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when needed.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
