Wayne Akers Ford is seeking an experience Body Man to work in their Collision Center. The right candidate will have past dealership experience and a strong background in collision centers. The day-to-day duties of this role include repairing damaged parts, communicating with the parts department to obtain necessary parts, and documenting all repairs performed.

Competitive Pay (based on experience) up to $24.00 per hr. flat rate

Responsibilities

• Determine and repair damaged parts 
• Communicate status of repairs clearly to body shop manager
• Communicate with parts department to obtain necessary parts
• Document all repairs performed
• Document all materials used
• Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner
• Follow all company safety procedures 
• Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations such as the disposal of hazardous waste

Qualifications

• Proven experience in auto body repair
• Skilled in frame work, filler work, panel repair. Light to heavy repairs
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented and efficient
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Own tools a must
• Clean driving record & valid driver’s license
• All applicants must be authorized to work in the US
• Must be able to pass background and drug screening
