Automotive Warranty Administrative Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Automotive Warranty Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling various warranty-related administrative tasks, including writing checks, reconciling monthly warranty statements, processing warranty cancellations, and ensuring accuracy in accounting warranty schedules. The ideal candidate will have basic accounting knowledge, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to assist and learn across departments. Automotive experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write checks for warranty claims and reconcile monthly warranty statements.
• Process and issue warranty cancellation checks to banks and customers.
• Ensure all accounting warranty schedules are accurate and up-to-date.
• Meet all month-end deadlines related to warranty accounting.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail when processing warranty claims and financial transactions.
• Communicate with dealerships to resolve any issues or discrepancies with warranties.
• Provide support to other departments as needed and be willing to learn new tasks or responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Basic accounting knowledge is preferred.
• CDK knowledge is preferred, but not required. 
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Automotive industry experience is a plus but not required.
• A proactive, positive attitude with a willingness to learn and assist across various departments.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
