Experienced Automotive Title Clerk Position
Ford Lincoln of Morgantown is looking to hire an experienced Automotive Title Clerk.
Requirements:
- A background in Automotive Dealership
- Minimum of two years experience
Job Duties:
- Prepares tax and title documents and submits to state authorities
- Verifies payoffs on trades, and send payoffs/collects titles
- Compiles and maintains a complete list of title work still pending
- Processes yearly renewal of dealer tags in for his/her stores
- Process titles for auctions sales, and then post receipt checks
- Assists the sales and finance departments in making sure paperwork runs smoothly
- Handle customer and dealership inquiries regarding tag and title issues
- Understands all title guidelines, and keeps knowledge level current and up to date on state requirements
- Process and file paperwork to establish or transfer the ownership of a vehicle
- Maintain strict compliance with all title laws and filing requirements
- Troubleshoot and problem resolution specific to titles, odometer discrepancies, power of attorney, etc.
- Communicate with customers and the county clerk’s office on related issues
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Other assigned tasks and duties
