Automotive Service Technician - Kenny Ross Ford South

Job Duties:

• Evaluate customer’s needs, working quickly and efficiently
• Master products, services and company knowledge
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace
• Test parts and systems to ensure that they are working properly
• Identify mechanical problems
• Perform basic care and maintenance including oil changes, tune-ups, and tire rotations
• Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads and wheel bearings
• 40 hour work week with Saturday and evening rotations

Qualifications:

• PA State and Emissions License
• Good knowledge of Automobiles
• Effective analytical and communication skills
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications
• Should be able to Operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Detail oriented, capable of a high-quality repair
• Minimum of 1-year experience in a service department
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
• Basic Computer skills
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
• A valid PA driver’s license
• Ford or Lincoln certified preferred but not required

Vacation:

• After 120 days - accrues at a rate of 40 hours
• After 3 years - accrues at a rate of 80 hours
• After 6 years - accrues at a rate of 120 hours

Sick:

• After 90 days of hire - 40 hours are awarded
• January 1 every year thereafter - 40 hours are awarded

Pay: $22 - $38/hr flat rate based on level and experience

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:  Mon-Fri with rotating Saturday schedule (shop is open Mon-Thurs 7am to 8pm, Friday 7am to 5:30, and Saturdays 8am to 5pm).  Techs typically leave around 4:30pm but can stay longer if need to.
