Nye Automotive is looking for a Rental Agent to join our team! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and keeping things running smoothly.

Core Job Responsibilities

• Excellent customer service skills. Always greet customers professionally.
• Answer and document all calls.
• Communicate with other departments to evaluate the needs of customers.
• Provide excellent customer service in a friendly, helpful and prompt manner.
• Prepare proper documentation enabling customers to drive rental vehicles (i.e. Driver’s license, credit card information, insurance, return date, proper signatures)
• Explain terms of rental agreements.
• Inspects vehicles upon return and documents and/or reports damages Collects outstanding balances for days out, damages and violations relating to customer’s usage.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness (wash and vacuum), check fluids and have maintained as per the vehicle maintenance requirements.
• Monitoring daily vehicle availability (which cars are in and out)
• Assisting the Rental Manager with additional tasks as needed
• Other job duties as assigned to meet the business needs

Core Job Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Ability to follow directions from Management.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer skills are required for this job.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Friendly, professional attitude with customers and coworkers
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, twist to get in and out of vehicles frequently and for extended periods of time.
• Must have reliable and flexible transportation.
• Must be able to perform all duties as assigned satisfactorily
• Must be able to pass a drug screen
• Must have a clean, valid driver’s license.
• Must be 21 years of age or older and be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

Job Details

• Full-Time Hourly
• Monday through Friday including some Saturdays
• 40-hour week
• Work Location – In Person
• $16 - $18 per hour

Valid driver’s license is required for consideration
