Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Admissions Coordinator. The Admissions Coordinator will manage the intake and admissions process for new patients, ensuring a seamless and empathetic experience. Responsibilities include coordinating admissions documentation, communicating with patients, families, and care teams, reviewing insurance and Medicare information for eligibility, and providing training about admissions procedures. The role requires strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with established protocols.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to work effectively with patients, families, and care teams
- Knowledge of Medicare policies and processes, as well as an understanding of Medical Terminology
- Experience in Training and onboarding processes related to admissions or healthcare operations
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Proficiency in using electronic documentation systems is preferred
- Knowledge of healthcare-related compliance regulations is beneficial
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or a related field is preferred
