Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical issues using various tools and techniques, including an Ohmmeter.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure longevity.
- Repair or replace defective parts and components as necessary.
- Conduct thorough inspections of machinery to identify potential issues.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Working on equipment including: Forklifts, tuggers, aerial, carts, and industrial batteries
- Drug Free workplace
Experience
- Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with mechanical systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
