X-Ray Technician

Miami Hand Center is seeking a reliable and experienced X-Ray Technician to join our team on a part-time or per diem basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic X-rays, primarily of the hands, wrists, and upper extremities, while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and high-quality imaging.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations as ordered by physicians.
• Properly position patients and operate X-ray equipment.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain imaging quality.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Ensure X-ray equipment and work areas are clean and properly maintained.
• Assist clinical staff as needed to support efficient patient care.

Requirements

• Valid Florida Department of Health certification or license in radiologic technology appropriate for the position.
• Previous experience performing diagnostic X-rays, preferably in an orthopedic or outpatient setting.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently.

Compensation & Schedule

• Hourly Pay: $25–$28, depending on experience.
• Schedule: Part-time or per diem, based on office needs.
• Benefits: This position does not include health insurance, dental insurance, or other full-time employee benefits.
