Summary:
The role of the Staff Assistant, Events is to support the Events team with planning and execution of events for the Miami Dolphins and Hard Rock Stadium. The Entertainment and Events team as a whole is responsible for creating the overall event concept and design, developing the execution plan and timeline, and establishing the budget for events across the Miami Dolphins, Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Open, and Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix.
Location:
- This is a part-time/hourly position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.
Responsibilities:
- Support with signage, operational needs, and execution:
- Game Day fan experience programming
- Season Kick-Off Week
- Celebrate the 305
- Dolphins Challenge Cancer
- Support Events Manager with Season Ticket Member activations and events
- Assist Events Coordinator with storage inclusive of inventory and organization
- Assist Event Coordinator with event staffing needs
- Assist with pre- and post-event evaluations on outcomes
- Other duties as assigned by Events Team
Qualifications:
- Available to work at least 30 hours per week, which may include late nights, weekends, holidays, and events as dictated by supervisor
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, OR a currently enrolled student working towards graduation
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Demonstrates a professional demeanor with the ability to interact with our fans and front office staff
- Maintains integrity and professionalism while representing the organization
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Able to lift 20lbs
