Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED. Three years of experience in landscape maintenance or tree care management is required. Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License CDL/Class A or B. Must obtain the Public Restricted Use Pesticides (RUP) License, Category 3 (Ornamental and Turf Pest Control) within six months of employment. Must obtain the FNGLA Landscape Technician Certification within the one year probationary period.
Recruitment Notes
The Landscape Technician Supervisor 1 is responsible for directly supervising and coordinating the activities of a small staff of FNGLA certified landscape technicians, auto equipment operators, tree trimmers, and irrigation technicians engaged in landscaping, tree care, and irrigation management activities at multipurpose special assessment districts that include roadways, swales, medians, and open areas.
The schedule is Monday through Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.
Salary : $40,000 - $80,000
