Minimum Qualifications
Eighth grade. Must possess a Miami-Dade County Certificate of Competency as a Journeyman Electrician. Must have own tools. Must possess a valid Driver's License or CDL/Class B is required.
Preferences
Experience with BMS (Building Management System), electrical switch gears, chiller equipment, ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch), industrial UPS (Uninterrupted Power System), industrial pumps and electrical motors is preferred.
Recruitment Notes
This position will reside in the Facilities and Constructions Division of Miami-Dade's Fire Rescue Department and will be required to work a 40-hour work week - shift schedule. The incumbent in this position will be working in a high-voltage industrial setting, which will entail reading and interpreting sketches, blueprints, and electrical diagrams.
