Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED. Two years of data entry experience to include using personal computer office applications are required.
Recruitment Notes
The Data Entry 2 is responsible for processing PortMiami credentialing applications in PortMiami ID Unit. The incumbent is responsible for a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to include but not limited to researching, verifying, and correcting application information to be entered in the various systems used in the ID unit. Reviews documentation for sufficiency and signatures; issue ID credentials and process violations/citations using ID Badging, InoVah Cashiering, Verification, TWIC validation, Cara, and Kofax Scanning Systems.
Seaport Security
Applicants qualifying for employment with the Miami-Dade Seaport Department will be subject to extensive security screening, including but not limited to fingerprint checks, employment verification, and other such procedures as may be mandated by federal, state, or local requirements. The security clearance required by federal law is a continuing condition of employment.
