Health Sciences | Nurse Educators (Adult Education)
We are seeking qualified and passionate Registered Nurses to join our Health Sciences team as instructors in an adult education setting. This role involves delivering high-quality instruction and preparing students for careers in healthcare through classroom, laboratory, and clinical experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction in health science programs including Medical Assisting, EKG, Phlebotomy, and Nursing-related courses
- Deliver engaging classroom, laboratory, and/or clinical instruction aligned with state curriculum frameworks
- Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback to support student success
- Supervise students in clinical settings, ensuring compliance with safety and professional standards
- Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, competencies, and evaluations
- Collaborate with program leadership to support program development and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of two (2) years of clinical nursing experience
- Experience in teaching, training, or supervising healthcare students or staff preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to student success and workforce development
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in adult education or career and technical education (CTE) programs
- Background in Medical Assisting, Phlebotomy, or EKG instruction
- BLS certification (Instructor level a plus)
