Role Description The Computer Science Teacher is a full-time, on-site position located in North Miami, FL. Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science and related concepts, with the ability to explain technical material clearly to learners at different levels.
- Experience or formal training in Computer Science Education, including effective classroom instruction and use of educational technology.
- Ability to create thoughtful Lesson Plans and contribute to Curriculum Development that align with district standards and best practices.
- Proficiency in Mathematics sufficient to support computer science topics such as algorithms, logic, and data analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Valid Florida teaching certificate or eligibility to obtain appropriate certification in Computer Science or Technology Education.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills, with commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive teaching.
- Willingness to engage in ongoing professional learning and integrate emerging technologies and pedagogical approaches into instruction.
