Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential, commercial, or hospitality spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items with care and efficiency
- Conduct floor care procedures including carpet cleaning, polishing hard floors, and applying appropriate maintenance techniques
- Manage janitorial tasks like restocking supplies, disposing of waste properly, and maintaining cleaning equipment in excellent condition
- Assist with outdoor work when necessary by sweeping walkways, clearing debris, or maintaining outdoor furniture and fixtures
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client requests or special cleaning needs with professionalism and friendliness
- Follow safety protocols for manual handling and heavy lifting to prevent injuries while moving furniture or heavy cleaning supplies
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential cleaning, janitorial work, or commercial cleaning environments; hotel experience is a plus
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining hygiene in various settings
- Skilled in floor care techniques such as carpet cleaning and floor polishing
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently; comfortable with heavy lifting when required
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during shifts
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards clients or residents
- Outdoor work experience is advantageous for maintaining exterior areas when needed
