Overview: Miami Christmas Lights (MCL) is seeking a versatile Decor Production Technician to play a critical role in the creation, maintenance, and restoration of our extensive holiday décor inventory. This position contributes to both new project fabrication and the refurbishment of returned items, ensuring they meet MCL's rigorous quality and aesthetic standards for re-deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make new holiday decorations and parts based on the required designs and safety rules.
- Repair and fix returned holiday decorations, including frames, wiring, lights, paint, and other damaged parts.
- Use tools for woodworking, painting, sanding, and putting parts together.
- Help organize and keep track of materials, tools, and finished products in the warehouse.
- Work with the warehouse, production, and design teams to complete projects.
- Follow safety rules and keep the work area clean and organized.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in carpentry, welding, or artistic disciplines strongly preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum 1-3 years of hands-on experience in a production, fabrication, or refurbishment role.
- Proven experience in roles requiring artistic ability and attention to detail.
