Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic Chiropractic Therapy Assistant, who is dedicated to patient care and passion for rehabilitation. In this vital role, you will support chiropractors by providing exceptional patient service, assisting with therapeutic procedures, and ensuring a smooth flow of daily operations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment dedicated to improving quality of life through chiropractic care and therapy. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping others achieve their health goals. Office hours are Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 9:30a-6:30p with lunch from 1-2p.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with therapy procedures to ensure accurate documentation.
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for chiropractic procedures, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Assist chiropractors during patient examinations and therapies by positioning patients and applying therapeutic modalities under supervision.
- Supervise patients while they are performing therapeutic exercises.
- Manage patient records accurately, update charts, and document treatment details in compliance with doctor-instructed treatment plans.
- Support clinic operations by scheduling appointments, answering patient inquiries, and coordinating follow-up visits.
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and assisting with inventory management of supplies.
- Assist with front desk tasks as needed.
- Some travel may be required.
- Other duties as needed.
Skills
- Strong commitment to delivering outstanding patient service and care with a positive attitude.
- Ability to communicate with the chiropractor and follow orders
- Previous experience in therapy/clinic settings, especially in chiropractic or physical rehabilitation, is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to work cooperatively with the doctor, co-workers, and supporting staff.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in fast-paced settings.
- Spanish speaking is a plus.
