Qualifications
Qualified candidates must be an MD or DO and board certified in Integrative Medicine. Experience caring for oncology patients or individuals with complex chronic conditions is preferred. Spanish language proficiency is strongly preferred to meet the needs of our diverse patient population.
Key Goals and Responsibilities
- Provide direct outpatient integrative medicine clinical care to oncology patients
- Deliver patient and physician education related to integrative and whole-person cancer care
- Promote and advance the Integrative and Lifestyle Medicine program within Miami Cancer Institute
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary oncology teams to support patient-centered, evidence-informed care
- Contribute to the growth and development of integrative oncology services, including programmatic innovation
- Participate in and support clinical research, quality improvement, and scholarly activities aligned with institutional priorities
