Role Description The Admissions Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Miami, FL. This team member serves as a primary point of contact for prospective students, responding to inquiries, scheduling and conducting admissions interviews, and guiding applicants through the admissions and enrollment process. The role includes presenting program information clearly, following up with leads, and providing excellent service to prospective students and their families. The Admissions Representative will support on-campus recruiting events, open houses, campus tours, and information sessions, as well as collaborate with marketing to nurture prospective student pipelines. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining accurate records in the admissions system, preparing reports, and coordinating with academic and administrative teams to ensure a smooth transition from applicant to enrolled student.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with prospective students, families, and internal teams.
- Proven customer service experience, with the ability to provide clear guidance, answer questions, and support individuals through the admissions process.
- Sales and consultative skills to manage inquiries, follow up with leads, and positively influence enrollment decisions in an ethical, student-focused manner.
- Ability to deliver training or informational sessions (e.g., campus tours, info sessions, presentations) to groups and individuals.
- Organizational and time-management skills, including managing multiple prospects, deadlines, and events simultaneously.
- Comfort using CRM or student information systems, email platforms, and standard office software.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and cultural sensitivity when working with a diverse, international student population.
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Communications, Education, Business, Marketing) or equivalent relevant experience.
- Previous experience in admissions, recruitment, higher education, or a related customer-facing role is preferred but not required.
