Who We Are
Established in 1976 and celebrating our 50th anniversary, MIA Shoes offers fashion-forward footwear for women with an emphasis on wearability and comfort. We are seeking a motivated and fashion-forward Sales Assistant to support our sales team both on the road and in our Miami office.
Role Overview
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys travel, has a passion for fashion, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. We’re looking for someone who is not only organized and reliable but also embodies our MIA brand aesthetic. The ideal candidate is confident, stylish, and comfortable representing MIA Shoes in a customer-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel with sales representatives to regional trade shows across the United States
- Assist in setting up, managing, and presenting collections at trade shows
- Represent the MIA Shoes brand professionally and stylishly at all events
- Wear and style MIA Shoes to showcase the product authentically
- Support sales reps in engaging with buyers and closing orders
- Follow up with customers post-show to review sell-through and maintain relationships
- Research and identify new boutique accounts that align with the brand
- Assist with creating and maintaining sales reports and performance tracking
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the sales team
Qualifications
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently
- Strong interest in fashion, particularly women’s footwear
- Knowledge of current fashion trends and styling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Prior experience in sales, retail, or fashion is a plus
