Overview
Join our team as a Retail Sales Associate in Geneva! This role is designed for energetic individuals who thrive on engaging with customers, showcasing products, and creating memorable shopping experiences. As a key member of our store, you'll be the friendly face that guides customers through their purchasing journey, ensuring they leave satisfied and eager to return. Your enthusiasm and proactive approach will help drive sales, promote our products, and uphold the highest standards of customer service.
This is a non-seasonal position. Candidates shall be available to work year-round.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales volume
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Monitor stock levels and re-stock product meeting visual merchandising standards
- Package, label, and seal products
- Prepare web orders for shipment
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Meet store goals and objectives
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry up to 40 pounds
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Dexterity of hands and fingers
- Able to walk, stoop, crouch, kneel, reach with hands and arms, twist, balance, and bend at waist
- Ability to climb a step stool or ladder in order to stock or acquire product for sale
- Not sensitive to smells and fragrances
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Able to enthusiastically engage in conversation with our guests
- Available to work at least one weekend shift per week, in addition to weekday shifts
- Strong customer service skills
- A positive, upbeat attitude
