The position is also responsible for identifying, determining, and supporting key relationships between both provider and patient needs. Ultimately, a successful Medical Assistant will collaborate and cross-train to be able to function in multiple clinic roles. Duties
- Assist medical staff with patient check-ins, vital signs, treatment photos, and clinical procedures in accordance with healthcare standards.
- Deliver exceptional patient care by ensuring comfort, professionalism, and confidentiality during all interactions.
- Prepare treatment rooms by maintaining cleanliness, stocking supplies, and ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready for use.
- Assist medical providers with non-invasive and minimally invasive aesthetic procedures, including preparing patients, documenting, and setting up supplies.
- Educate patients on pre- and post-treatment care instructions to optimize outcomes and satisfaction.
- Perform tasks such as checking patients in/out, verifying patient information, and maintaining accurate patient records.
- Maintain knowledge of medical aesthetics procedures, products, and services offered at the MedSpa.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring supply levels, and ensuring no shortages.
- Uphold safety and compliance protocols, including HIPAA standards.
- Support marketing efforts by assisting with before-and-after photos, social media content, or promotional events (as permitted by the MedSpa).
- Exceptional customer service and with great telephone etiquette.
- Perform screening for various patient procedures.
- Monitor and report any patient concerns or adverse reactions to the medical provider promptly.
- Continuously improve skills by participating in ongoing training and education on the latest medical aesthetics techniques and technologies.
- Represents the company by creating a welcoming, professional, and high-quality patient experience that aligns with the MedSpa's mission and values.
- Manage and execute social media strategies across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and others.
Create engaging content including graphics, videos, and photography.
Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to optimize online visibility.
- Monitor social listening channels to gauge public sentiment and respond appropriately to comments or inquiries.
Maintain consistent branding across all digital platforms while ensuring content accuracy through proofreading and editing..Experience
Minimum of 2 years experience as a Medical Assistant. Experience in medical spa/plastic surgery industry is definitely a plus.
- Proven experience in social media management with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful campaigns.
- Strong graphic design skills with an eye for aesthetics aligned with branding standards.
- Excellent proofreading skills to ensure high-quality content output.
- A passion for aesthetics is essential. This role offers an engaging blend of clinical support and creative marketing responsibilities designed to elevate our med spa's presence while providing exceptional patient care.
