Position type: Non-Exempt

Mi-Tech Tungsten Metals is currently hiring an experienced manufacturing supervisor for our 2nd shift operations. The right candidate will have a machining background in addition they will be able to communicate job expectations, planning, monitoring, and enforce policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision
• Interface with team members on a daily basis and act as the first line of command in resolving problems and maintaining efficient and orderly workflow
• Coordinate workloads
• Inspect parts during the shift to verify specifications are being met
• Accurate and timely production reporting
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma / GED - (Asociate's degree in technical field or equivalent education - Preferred)
• Previous Machining experience
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Strong Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel)
• Two years of Supervisory experience or training
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Able to train on 1st shift before moving to 2nd shift
• 5S training (preferred)
• Exposure to quality procedures (preferred)
