Employment Type: Full time Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift Description: Registered Nurse Department: Labor & Delivery Location: Trinity Health Oakland Minimum rate of pay: $34.77/hour PLUS DailyPAY Position Purpose The Registered Nurse works in a collaborative environment at Trinity Health to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team supplying evidence-based medicine and individualized patient care. Nurses are expected to ease all aspects of the patient visit experience. 12 hour shifts, holiday & weekend requirements. Required Qualifications: Education Graduation from an accredited Nursing School. BSN preferred. Licensure Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License. BLS Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required within 12 months from date of hire or transfer. Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification (EFM-c) is required within the first 12 months from date of hire or transfer. The RN interprets and performs complex patient care procedures specific to their ability. • RNs are members of the Care Team and Support Team and have accountability to function as a team to conduct patient outcomes identified in the pathway/plan of care. • The Registered Nurse is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for the care given to a group of patients for a designated period. • The RN supplies care to those patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/technology, and other healthcare team members, according to established standards.
