Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Order Processing:

Reading and understanding customer orders to identify the specific items to be filled. 

• Picking and Packing:

Locating items from shelves or storage areas, gathering them, and securely packing them for shipping. 

• Shipping and Handling:

Preparing shipments, labeling packages, and adhering to shipping procedures. 

• Quality Control:

Verifying the accuracy of orders and ensuring items are packaged properly to prevent damage during transit. 

• Teamwork:

Collaborating with other warehouse staff to maintain a smooth workflow and efficient order processing. 

• Safety:

Following safety procedures and using equipment appropriately. 

• Communication:

Communicating with customer service or other teams regarding any order issues or discrepancies. 

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Attention to Detail: Accuracy is crucial for filling orders correctly. 
• Physical Stamina: The ability to lift and move items up to 40 pounds, and stand for extended periods. 
• Organizational Skills: Efficiently locating and retrieving items from storage. 
• Basic Computer Skills: Familiarity with inventory management systems and other software. 
• Problem-Solving Skills: Identifying and resolving issues with orders. 
• Teamwork and Communication: Collaborating effectively with other employees. 
• Reading and Math Skills: Proficiency in reading instructions and performing basic calculations.
