THE ORGANIZATION: Mi Familia Vota (MFV) and Mi Familia en Acción (MFA) are national Latino-led civic engagement organizations working year-round to strengthen democracy and empower our communities.
MFA, a 501(c)(3), focuses on nonpartisan programs such as citizenship, voter registration, voter education, and leadership development on key issues, including immigration, education, healthcare, voting rights, workers’ rights, reproductive rights, and the environment.
MFV, a 501(c)(4) organization, builds Latino political power through advocacy, organizing, and mobilization to ensure that Latino voices shape the policies that impact their health, safety, and prosperity.
Together, we operate one of the largest Latino civic engagement infrastructures in the country, with programs across eight states (Arizona, California, Nevada, Texas, Colorado, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida) and Washington, D.C.
Position Overview
The Field Manager is responsible for supervising field staff, implementing voter registration and community engagement programs, and ensuring program goals are achieved. This position works closely with the Field Director to oversee daily field operations, support staff development, strengthen community partnerships, and advance civic engagement efforts within the communities we serve.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Staff Leadership & Supervision

Supervise, coach, and support field staff.

Recruit, onboard, train, and develop canvassers and field team members.

Lead daily launches, team meetings, and field debriefs.

Conduct performance evaluations and accountability conversations as needed.
Program Management & Operations

Implement field strategies and monitor program performance.

Coordinate schedules and field assignments with the Canvass Lead.

Identify and maintain high-impact voter registration and outreach locations.

Ensure staff have the resources, materials, and transportation necessary to perform their work.

Support the Field Director in securing new voter registration and community engagement opportunities.
Community Engagement & Partnerships

Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, businesses, schools, and local stakeholders.

Represent the organization at community meetings, events, and outreach activities.

Support voter engagement, volunteer recruitment, leadership development, and other community-based initiatives.
Administrative Responsibilities

Maintain accurate reports, records, and field documentation.

Utilize organizational databases and reporting platforms effectively.

Ensure timely submission of program data and required reports.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education & Experience

Minimum of two election cycles of field organizing, voter engagement, or campaign experience required.

Prior experience supervising staff or volunteers preferred.

Experience in community organizing, advocacy, nonprofit, political, or civic engagement work preferred.

Salary : $60,000
