Occupational Therapist

As an Occupational therapist (OT) you are responsible for supporting the mission and vision of MHMR Tarrant and providing services through our Outpatient Biopsychosocial Approach for IDD Services (OBI) program which services individuals who have an intellectual disability or developmental disability, and who have a cooccurring mental health condition, substance use disorder, or behavior support needs. This position will provide direct treatment, support and consultation to the individual and their caregiver(s), service coordinators, providers, and OBI team. You may complete assessments for individuals as requested and as determined necessary. As a participant of the team, OT will be required to provide updates on treatment and work as a team to consult on cases.
Minimum qualifications: Master’s Degree
Defined Education: Occupational Therapy
Substitutions: None
Experience: 3 years of Pediatric and Adult IDD, MH or TBI experience
License/Certifications OTR license required
