What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Aide position at MHMR Authority of Brazos Valley?
Hours of work: Varies and Shift Work is Required.
Locations: Bryan, Madisonville, Brenham, Texas.
2 weeks of training in the Bryan office IF selected.
Schedule:
8 hours shifts, day shifts, evening shifts, Monday to Friday, morning shifts, night shifts, weekends as needed.
Job Description: Performs beginning level of work providing shift supervision to clients with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities. Position will assist consumers IDD in a residential group home setting. Position will implement training and service objectives and assess clients' needs and strengths. Person is responsible for maintaining proper clinical documentation. A person must demonstrate and maintain competency in job functions.
Education: Requires High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: Prefer experience working with persons with (IDD) Intellectual Developmental Disabilities.
Licenses/Certifications: Valid Texas driver's license and must be insurable by Agency insurance.
Physical Requirements: Sight, hearing, ability to walk, talk, ability to lift up to 50lbs., ability to communicate effectively; ability to pass the Preventative Management of Aggressive Behavior (PMAB) Training as well as all other physical requirements for this position.

Pay: $27,387.00 - $30,816.00 per year
