Civil Engineer

MHE Engineering, D.P.C. has an immediate opening for a Civil Staff Engineer to support our municipal projects in our Milford, Pennsylvania or New Windsor, NY locations. This position would be in-office and not offered remotely or hybrid.

MHE Engineering, DPC. is a multi-disciplined consulting engineering firm located in Southern New York and Northeastern Pennsylvania. The primary areas of practice include civil/municipal engineering, structural engineering, planning, & construction administration and observation. Our firm was founded in 1978 and operates two offices in New Windsor, NY, and Milford, PA.

Job responsibilities will include technical design and project management for public works infrastructure projects, preparation of technical design reports, SWPPP reports, process design for water and wastewater treatment, stormwater management design, roadway design, erosion and sedimentation control plans, and development of construction detailing and specifications.

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university
• 1-5 years of related experience or equivalent
• Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam is a plus.

Candidates shall be team oriented, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to effectively correspond with clients and regulatory bodies.
