Building Maintenance Engineer II – Day Shift

Full-Time | $28/hr | Hotel 1000 – Downtown Seattle

Hotel 1000 is looking for a reliable and skilled Building Maintenance Engineer II to join our Engineering team. If you’re mechanically inclined, enjoy solving problems, and want a consistent schedule with a great group of people, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Do:

• Handle routine maintenance and repairs on hotel systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.)

• Respond to work orders and perform in-room service calls as needed

• Keep equipment running safely and efficiently

• Communicate with guests, residents, and team members with a friendly, professional attitude

• Maintain tools, logs, and follow up on open requests

What We’re Looking For:

• 3 years of hands-on experience in general building maintenance or trades

• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills

• Basic understanding of HVAC systems and controls

• Clear communication and a dependable, team-first attitude

• Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures

• Hospitality experience is a plus, but not required

Schedule:
