Job Summary: As a ReSales and Rental Manager with MH Equipment you will manage the ReSales and Rental fleet for multiple locations. including procurement, repair, and maintenance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Increase West Region’s ReSales and Rental revenue through proper management of inventory levels and effective communication with our operations and sales teams.
- Work directly with our customers and sales team to understand needs and competitive offerings to develop effective inventory plans, pricing, and product delivery.
- Understand market conditions including current customers, potential customers, and competitors in assigned territory. Make customer and branch visits frequently when and where necessary.
- Assist in setting financial performance goals and objectives, working with others to accomplish.
- Management of rental staff including hiring, career development, performance management, evaluation, and termination.
- Source product as needed and oversee the building of ReSales products, assuring that quality standards are achieved and work is completed timely and cost effectively.
- Manage to the set standard our ReSales and Rental inventory levels to assure proper turns, delivery times, values, and inventory age.
- Assist in setting trade-in values and dispose of all trade-in equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Develop and maintain a ReSales and Rental floor plan maintaining stock for immediate sale and rental.
- Assure that product condition is as stated and expected both on transfer in region and sold to end user.
- Set and manage ReSales and Rental pricing levels to accomplish profitability objectives.
- Assist with lease returns.
- Assure that ReSales website is accurate and timely.
- Assist other ReSales and Rental managers when necessary.
- Use MH systems to properly create and close out contracts and manage expenses.
- Coordinate the transportation of equipment.
- Contact the customer upon delivery of the equipment.
- Inspect returned trucks and charge for avoidable damage and overtime.
- Manage the maintenance and warranty expense including review of maintenance, repairs, and on time PMs.
- Work to resolve issues, conflicts, challenges, opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction
