Position Application Developer
Location Oklahoma City, OK
Duration 12 months, with option to renew
Scope of Work
MGT is seeking an experienced Application Developer for our client to support the planning, development, execution, and completion of IT projects. The developer will work under OSDH direction to deliver secure, scalable, maintainable, and reusable software solutions within established timelines and budgets.
The selected candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, internal teams, and external technology teams to understand business needs, identify system limitations, resolve complex integration challenges, and develop effective application solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop high-quality, secure, maintainable, and reusable application code
Design, develop, enhance, and support cloud-based applications.
Develop and integrate web applications and APIs.
Work with UI technologies such as React, Angular, and Node.js
Review and contribute to technical designs and application architecture.
Translate business requirements and stakeholder pain points into technical solutions.
Implement new application features and enhancements.
Demonstrate completed functionality to stakeholders and project teams.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and system integration issues.
Monitor application performance and optimize front-end response times.
Manage application parameters and configurations to improve performance.
Support automation and continuous improvement of development workflows.
Evaluate the feasibility of proposed applications and system modifications.
Identify application requirements, technical dependencies, and system restrictions.
Participate in Agile development, planning, and delivery activities.
Work with external teams to resolve integration and technical issues.
Maintain source code using Git and follow established development standard
