About The Role
We are seeking a self-driven 1099 Sales Executive to expand our market presence, focusing on the sales and marketing of MStar LSP (LMS) and our suite of proprietary educational technology solutions within California’s K-12 education market. Reporting directly to the General Manager, Operations in the NY office, you will develop new business, maintain and grow existing accounts, and meet established sales targets independently.

About The Role
We are seeking a self-driven 1099 Sales Executive to expand our market presence, focusing on the sales and marketing of MStar LSP (LMS) and our suite of proprietary educational technology solutions within California’s K-12 education market. Reporting directly to the General Manager, Operations in the NY office, you will develop new business, maintain and grow existing accounts, and meet established sales targets independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed defined sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with educational stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Represent MStar LSP (LMS) and our solutions at relevant educational conferences, networking events, and demonstrations.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to refine and adjust sales strategies.
- Provide detailed market insights and sales performance data through structured, periodic reporting.
- Leverage CRM systems, digital presentation tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) effectively to enhance sales efficiency.
- Travel within California (up to 75%) for client meetings, product demonstrations, and events.
- 5-9 years of proven sales experience, preferably in educational technology or LMS products.
- Demonstrated success in independently achieving or exceeding sales goals.
- Strong ability to establish and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, and capable of working autonomously.
- Proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license required
- Commission-based compensation with competitive earning potential; your earnings are directly tied to your sales success
