Middle School/High School Teacher (On-Site Classroom Instructor with Virtual Support)
Location: On-site | Pinnacle Charter Schools – District Office, Tempe, Arizona
This is not a remote role.
About Us
Pinnacle Charter Schools, operated by MGRM Pinnacle, is a Cognia-accredited network of alternative, for-profit charter schools serving students across Arizona. Established in 1995, we offer a flexible, year-round model of instruction that blends online learning with in-person support at our school sites. Our mission is to serve students who need a second chance—or a different approach—to succeed.
Our student population includes those who are behind in credits, face life challenges, or haven’t thrived in traditional school systems. At Pinnacle, we prioritize flexibility, individualized learning, and meaningful relationships over conventional structures—offering a supportive environment where students (and teachers) can grow.
The Opportunity
We’re seeking a compassionate and adaptable Middle School/High School Teacher (On-Site Classroom Instructor) to join our team at our Tempe district office. In this role, your primary focus will be working directly with students attending our physical school site. You’ll provide 1-on-1 tutoring, foster classroom engagement, and ensure students are on pace to complete—and pass—their courses.
In addition to classroom responsibilities, you’ll also play a role in outreach efforts that help boost enrollment and strengthen community connections. Finally, while your main focus is site-based students, you will also support a small group of online learners, applying the same instructional and mentoring skills in a virtual setting.
This position is ideal for educators who thrive in small-group or individualized settings, believe in second chances, and want to make a real impact on at-risk youth in a flexible, non-traditional learning environment.
What You’ll Do
Salary for this position is competitive and based on prior experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and life insurance coverage, as well as an employer retirement contribution.
Equal Opportunity Employer
MGRM Pinnacle Inc. is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, age, disability, religion, sexual orientation, or national or ethnic origin. Candidates from all backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.
