MGMT Residential seeks an experienced and motivated Bilingual Construction Superintendent to oversee daily construction operations and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish, has strong leadership skills, and can effectively communicate with field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all on-site construction activities from project start through completion.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews.
- Ensure work is completed according to project plans, specifications, and building codes.
- Maintain project schedules and proactively address delays or issues.
- Conduct daily site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance.
- Enforce OSHA safety standards and company safety policies.
- Lead safety meetings and toolbox talks.
- Communicate project updates with project managers, owners, inspectors, and clients.
- Translate and communicate instructions effectively between English- and Spanish-speaking team members.
- Coordinate material deliveries and equipment usage.
- Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and documentation.
- Identify and resolve field issues quickly to minimize project delays.
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and manpower allocation.
- Ensure projects remain on budget by monitoring labor productivity and material usage.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar supervisory role.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish (spoken and written preferred).
- Strong knowledge of commercial and/or residential construction practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
- Thorough understanding of OSHA safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, the Google suite of office products and construction management software.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 30 Certification.
- First Aid/CPR Certification.
- Experience with scheduling software such as Procore.
- Experience managing multiple subcontractors and fast-paced construction projects.
Pay: $80,000.00 per year
