THE JOB:
Join the team as an Environmental Services Utility Porter at Vdara, where you’ll help create a clean, welcoming, and memorable experience for every guest. As an EVS Utility Porter, you’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including general cleaning, waste management, and maintaining the cleanliness of public areas. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will help us provide a top-notch experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest’s experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us!
THE STARTING PAY RATE: $21.2234 / Per Hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Deliver exceptional, friendly, and engaging service consistently, adhering to S.H.O.W. Service Basics, and strive to exceed guest expectations
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the casino, public areas, offices, restrooms, and other designated spaces
- Operate a range of professional floor care and specialized cleaning equipment
- Safely handle and clean biohazardous materials
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Must 21 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of various floor surfaces and experience with professional cleaning equipment preferred
- Experience in a similar five-star/five-diamond resort environment preferred
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
