It is the primary responsibility of the Race and Sports Shift Supervisor to oversee the daily operation of the Race and Sports book during their shift and/or in the absence of the Race and Sports Book Shift Manager. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.

Pay Rate
The rate for this role is:
$21.25
This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.
Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.
Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.

The Job

The Day-to-day
- Assist, train and lead Race and Sports Mutuel Clerks
- Approve complimentary items for guests and over-the-limit wagers for the property
- Close out writers at the end of the shift and ensure money has been transferred to the main cage
- Move and monitor betting lines
- Explain betting lines and odds to customers
- Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department
- Issue disciplinary action when requested by Sports Book Manager/Director
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- 2 Years of Prior Relevant Experience Resort setting Required
- Required to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
