THE JOB:
It is the responsibility of the Laborer to provide general assistance for our Horticulture team. All duties are to be performed in accordance with federal, state, local laws, regulations, and ordinances, as well as department and company policies, practices, and procedures to ensure overall facility integrity.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Collecting/carrying required parts materials and/or equipment to designated work areas; assist with office, furniture and casino equipment moves, and with demolition and clean up on construction projects.
Pick up parts and supplies from vendors, keep property maintenance department warehouse clean and orderly.
Responsible for completion of all jobs assigned by Dispatch or Management and maintain logbooks.
Operate motorized/power equipment; skyjack, forklift, scissor lift, jack hammer and other heavy machinery; fuel and service engineering vehicles; maintain inventory of keys and tools in the Engineering Tool Room.
Work under minimal supervision to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Keep informed and updated on current techniques and technical methods and advise Shift Supervisor of any unusual conditions within the property.
Maintain constant awareness of personal and property cleanliness, safety and accident prevention; able to wear/use personal protective equipment (PPE).
THE STARTING RATE: $23.63/hourly.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
Bilingual, preferred.
Forklift certified, preferred.
