In this hands-on role, you’ll care for and maintain lush interior landscapes, ensuring every detail is healthy, polished, and visually stunning. THE STARTING RATE: $21.91 / Per Hour THE DAY-TO-DAY: Maintain MGMRI service standards when interacting with guests and coworkers Design, install, and maintain indoor green spaces, including plant placement, watering, fertilizing, pruning, and overall plant care to ensure healthy and visually appealing environments Monitor and adjust environmental conditions such as lighting, humidity, temperature, and plant nutrition; apply chemicals as needed in accordance with safety guidelines and industry standards Identify, monitor, and control pests and diseases to protect plant health Drive and operate company vehicles, trailers, and/or specialized carts to transport materials and travel between properties Use a variety of manual tools and equipment (including pruners, shears, saws, shovels, fertilizer spreaders, and pesticide sprayers) to complete gardening tasks Maintain outdoor spaces as needed, including rock application, raking, blowing, and washing THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Must be 18 years of age or older High School Diploma, GED or equivalent Two (2) years of prior relevant education, training, and experience Two (2) years of prior relevant experience in commercial or resort interior landscape maintenance One (1) year of prior relevant experience in interior landscape design and installation Certificate in Ornamental Horticulture or related fields preferred Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays THE PERKS & BENEFITS: Health & Income Protection benefits (for eligible employees) Professional and personal development opportunities through employee programs and network groups Free meals in our employee dining room Free parking on and off-shift at all MGM Resorts properties Wellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentally Access to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts
