THE JOB:
The Director of Entertainment is responsible for leading and overseeing all entertainment operations across assigned properties, including technical production, box office, and showroom management. In partnership with the Entertainment Center of Excellence (COE), this role ensures the effective execution of strategic initiatives while fostering an exceptional guest experience and a high-performing team culture. The Director will be accountable for operational excellence, employee engagement, guest satisfaction, and financial performance of the entertainment division.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Execute operating plans for assigned venues in alignment with the Entertainment division's strategic vision.
Oversee daily theater operations, including technical systems, maintenance, and repairs.
Collaborate on new entertainment concepts and execute planned programming.
Manage box office operations and maintain communication with corporate ticketing for inventory and yield management.
Lead production for non-ticketed events, including setups and teardowns, in partnership with special events teams.
Develop and manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and capital project recommendations.
Maintain strong relationships with property stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Drive team performance, employee engagement, and guest satisfaction through coaching and development.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Bachelor’s degree in Theater, Business, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 4 years in production, showroom, or entertainment operations with a demonstrated ability to lead complex, guest-facing environments.
Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, managing P&L statements, labor costs, purchasing, and capital project planning.
Willing and able to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support entertainment programming.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate across departments and deliver results through teams.
