THE JOB:
Join the team as a Housekeeping Administrative Assistant, where you’ll play an important role in supporting daily housekeeping operations in a fast-paced resort environment. In this role, you’ll provide administrative and clerical support while helping the department stay organized, efficient, and guest-focused.
Working behind the scenes with leadership and team members across the property, you’ll help support smooth day-to-day operations while delivering professional service and contributing to an exceptional guest experience.
THE STARTING PAY RATE: $19.20 / Per Hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Greet visitors and callers, answer multi-line phone systems, direct calls to the appropriate department, and respond to general email correspondence from guests and staff
Schedule meetings and conference calls for Housekeeping leadership and staff
Prepare purchase orders for housekeeping supplies, equipment, and services
Coordinate pick-up, shipping, storage, and organization of housekeeping products and supplies based on operational needs
Maintain inventory by keeping housekeeping supplies stocked, organized, and easy to locate
Compile, copy, sort, file, scan, and maintain housekeeping documents, reports, schedules, and databases
Work closely with Housekeeping leadership and other departments to support daily operations
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Must be at least 18 years of age or older
One (1) year of prior relevant experience in a related position, or equivalent education and experience, administrative or clerical preferred
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) with the ability to learn new software quickly
