Job Overview:
MGM Energy is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our highly skilled and dedicated team. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, along with proven ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide variety of HVAC equipment.
This position requires adherence to all program guidelines as well as county and local codes. Our technicians are expected to deliver technical excellence, maintain compliance with industry standards and safety regulations, and provide exceptional customer service.

- MGM Energy Technicians are not sales associates.
- This is a full-time, year-round position — not seasonal.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Complete all required certification and program training.
- Mentor and train Install Helpers on job sites and in the shop.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and handle service calls for various HVAC units.
- Perform routine system maintenance, including cleaning, inspections, and tune-ups.
- Braze, run low-voltage wiring, charge refrigerant, and check system pressures.
- Interpret and work from technical schematics.
- Perform warranty services and emergency repairs efficiently and accurately.
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding system issues and solutions.
- Arrive on time and fully prepared for scheduled appointments.
- Maintain accurate customer records, files, and required paperwork.
- Stay informed on program requirements, standards, and updates.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers, coworkers, and utility company representatives.
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and ongoing training as assigned by the HVAC Supervisor.
- Always represent the company professionally.
- Perform additional duties and tasks as directed by the HVAC Supervisor
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must have a valid California Driver’s License
- Clean driving record
- 2–4 years of HVAC industry experience
- Strong communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Strong math skills
- EPA 608 Certification required
- Additional HVAC certifications (e.g., NATE) strongly preferred
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces and various weather conditions
- Spanish-speaking ability is a plus
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Ability to pass a 7‑year criminal background check
The Location: Apple Valley, CA

Compensation: $25.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on experience
