Appliance Delivery / Utility Worker

The Company:

MGM Energy is a contractor specializing in HVAC, plumbing, energy conservation, and electrical services. We also participate in the Energy Saving Assistance Program sponsored by Southern California Edison, Southern California Gas Company, Southwest Gas, and Bear Valley Electric.

Job Overview:

The Appliance Delivery/Utility Worker will perform various duties across several departments, including the installation of HE appliances, refrigerators, freezers, clothes washers, and dishwashers, as well as minor electrical and plumbing repairs or installations as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Successfully complete certification training or any other required training
• Install energy-saving measures for the company's home improvement and weatherization programs as needed.
• Deliver and install appliances as needed.
• Maintain a clean job site by picking up tools and equipment and securing the job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.
• Operate basic hand tools and machinery, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Safely and efficiently deliver and install appliances (such as dishwashers, refrigerators, and clothes washers) for residential clients.
• Perform minor plumbing and electrical work as needed during installations.
• Ensure all installations comply with local codes and safety regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and addressing clients' concerns.
• Maintain a professional, clean, and organized work environment.
• Follow instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Have the ability to work in confined spaces and extreme weather conditions.
• Have the ability to wear all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) for each project or job site.

Requirements:

• Must have an active California Driver's License
• Clean Driving Record
• Must Pass Drug Test and Physical Exam
• Must pass 7 Year criminal background check
• Previous experience with appliance installation, plumbing, and electrical work is required.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy appliances (50-100 lbs).
• Must have strong communication skills
• Must have basic computer skills
• Solid math skills
• Spanish speaker is a plus.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 7:00 am-4:00 pm

Salary:

$18.00-$22.00 p/hr Plus production Bonus
